We are based here, in Orange County. Not a national call centre in another state — people who know these streets, who have sat with families on the worst day of their lives, and who have watched them try to find somewhere safe for their mother with three days' notice and no idea where to begin.
The big referral services could not help those families. Not because the people are bad — because the business model is. Those services are paid a commission by the home, benchmarked to the first month's rent. So they only show you homes that can afford to pay it. If your mother needs a small Vietnamese-speaking home in Westminster for $4,000 a month, or if she is on Medi‑Cal — where the rate simply cannot fund their fee — their model cannot serve you. No amount of asking changes the arithmetic.
What we do differently
| We list everyone | All 1112 licensed homes in the county, not just the ones who pay us. If a better home for your parent doesn't pay us a cent, you'll still hear about it from us. |
| We take Medi‑Cal families | The big referral services are paid a commission by the home, benchmarked to the first month's rent. A home paid at Medi‑Cal rates cannot fund that fee — so their model cannot serve these families. We built this for exactly those families. |
| We actually call the homes | Every week. That's how we know who has a room today instead of guessing from a stale list. |
| We check the license | Every home we show you is currently licensed with the State of California. We verify it against state records. We will not send you to a home that isn't. |
How we're paid
Finding you a home is free to families — including Medi‑Cal families, where no home pays us anything. When a family we assist moves in, that home pays us a referral fee. We list every licensed home in the county — including the ones that pay us nothing — and we never rank a home higher because it pays us.
